We went 7-1 for the day including a huge UPSET SPECIAL in what has become known as Survival Saturday.

We're still three weeks away from when the first college playoff bracket is finalized so a lot of key matchups this coming weekend have significant importance. It should be a wild finish to a great 2014 season...even better when you're making MO' MONEY.

NOTE: tonight the new college playoff rankings are released. So keep an eye on where teams like TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State are ranked. There's more football to come but things are starting to fall into place.

WEEKEND REWIND...

...in a big UPSET SPECIAL, Ohio State bumped off the Spartans in East Lansing. This knocks Michigan State out of playoff consideration and definitely positions the Buckeyes for a late charge into the Big Ten championship game and the playoffs...

...Oklahoma is definitely not living up to their pre-season hype but not many teams have tamed Baylor's quarterback and their high powered offense. And Baylor finally beats a ranked team on the road and inches closer to a Big 12 title...

...Bama edged out LSU but it sure looked like Alabama got more than a few favorable calls down the stretch. If only Jennings had run for the easy first down instead of forcing an errant pass into the end zone...

...Georgia Tech laid the wood to NC State, 56-23. This Saturday the Jackets host Clemson in a huge ACC game that has conference title game ramifications, and the Bees need to win to keep pace with Duke...

...Georgia rebounded from their embarrassing no show in Jacksonville to spank the Kitty Kats in Lexington. It wasn't pretty. Roundball couldn't start soon enough for Kentucky...

...will dumb dumbs ever stop their showboating long enough to cross the goal line before dropping the ball? If you watched the Oregon-Utah game then you know what I'm talking about. The Ducks are now in a great position with the playoff bracket experts...

...TCU clobbered Kansas State 41-20 as Trevone Boykin put on a clinic with 340 offensive yards and four touchdowns...

...we warned you about Notre Dame losing after they face Navy. Well, that's exactly what happened Saturday when they lost to Arizona State and now Notre Dame can say good bye to a shot at the playoffs. This was our only clunker of the day so we can't complain too much...
